    My Default Tab is set to “List”. When I open the calendar, the first date shown is January 1st. I would like today’s date to be the first date shown.

    It sounds like you are using Full view, is that correct? This is standard handling of the list tab in the FullCalendar library. I agree with you that it would be optimal for the list to start on the current date and not the first date of the current month. I’m not sure if it will be possible to add this capability but I have added it to the to-do list for ongoing updates.
