The fullcalendar integration is looking great. I’m missing the option/view to see the full event descriptions in a sidebar though. That view works really good in hand held viewports and is gives the users a good overview of all events without needing to go click to the single event page.

I would also like to see the feed toggle added to the fullcalender view. This is very user friendly and helps to navigate cluttered calendars.

    Cheers!

This is a great idea. Unfortunately the FullCalendar library does not support this kind of layout “out of the box”. That said, I will investigate the feasibility of adding a sidebar treatment. ICS Calendar Pro’s implementation of FullCalendar already includes extensive customizations for the event description hover boxes, so it should be possible to add a sidebar as well.

Regarding the feed toggles… that’s on the roadmap. They’re hidden right now because I wasn’t able to get that functionality implemented by my launch deadline for Full view. But it’s one of many features that will be rolled into Full view over the coming weeks. (Others include timezone support and custom date/time formats.)

Great to hear that the toggles are coming. Keeping my fingers crossed that you’ll get something awesome done with the sidebar as well!

The fullcalendar view of now is not super user friendly on mobile devices since “hover” is notoriously hard to handle there. Also the month view becomes to cramped and then people need to manually switch to the list view, where again the hover functon doesn’t really work on mobile.

The way you have made the calendar month view with sidebar switch to a compact calender with the events underneath is really really good. If you can nail this concept with fullcalendar then I’ll switch, since it seems like fullcalendar loads faster.
