Today ICS Calendar v. 10.11.0 has been released. This version includes a couple of bug fixes, along with one major new feature, designed to assist site developers who are focusing on specific SEO customizations:
There are now three new parameters, htmltagtitle
, htmltagmonth
and htmltagdate
, that can be used to control which HTML tags ICS Calendar uses for the overall calendar title, the month headings, and (in list view only) the day headings. By default, ICS Calendar uses h2
, h3
and h4
tags, respectively, for these elements. These three parameters are entirely optional, and if omitted, the above defaults will continue to be used.
These options are not yet built into the Calendar Builder in ICS Calendar Pro. They will be included in the next point release update. In the meantime, you can use these parameters in Pro by adding them directly to your shortcode.
