Today marks the release of ICS Calendar version 10.12.1 and ICS Calendar Pro version 4.9.0. These are incremental updates, focused mainly on minor bug fixes and enhancements. The primary changes in both versions are:
- The
combinemultidayparameter now works properly regardless of the site’s Week starts on setting. (It previously only labeled events spanning across weeks correctly if the first day of the week was Sunday.) - Minor CSS changes to the
compactparameter in Month and Week views.
The changes in the Pro version also include:
- Redundant event times and titles are fixed in the Widget, Month with Sidebar and Year with Sidebar views. (This fix also required the introduction of the new
r34ics_eventdesc_include_time_and_titlefilter in the free ICS Calendar version 10.12.1.) - Added a
code-snippets.phpfile. This file is never executed directly by the plugin, but over time we will include code samples here for future updates we are considering, for curious developers to try out. - Updated embedded vendor code libraries (ACF PRO, FullCalendar.io and Plugin Update Checker) to their latest available versions.
